Praise for The Boat

"Here's a filmmaker that demonstrates a confident and worldly voice...giving us a film full of courage and ambition, as well as suspense and mystery. The film is both delicate and tragic with beautiful cinematography and pacing. The performances are subtle and human, and the visuals allowed the jury into the interior lives of the characters. With universal themes of superstition and belief, the film shows us the harmful impacts that these can have on the world."
David Puttnam, CIFF Awards Ceremony 2023

"A devastatingly beautiful executed story with a cinematic style that is outstanding without compromising the quiet dignity at the heart of this film."

MAssey's Drive (2024)

Picture
On a farm in Ireland, a young tractor named Massey dreams of driving on the main road with the cars. They practice their driving skills using farmyard obstacles. The Farmer, noticing Massey's efforts, takes them on a real drive, but Massey soon realizes they're not as welcomed by the other drivers. Feeling discouraged, Massey finds joy when a young boy named Fergus, who loves tractors, is thrilled to see them. Together with Fergus and the Farmer, Massey finds happiness and acceptance.

"Massey’s Drive," a 2-D animated short, highlights themes of inclusivity, courage, and individuality. The production aims to celebrate diversity by involving underrepresented artists and showcasing characters from various backgrounds. The short was created to inspire audiences to embrace their uniqueness.

'Massey's Drive' was supported by the Pathways scheme - A scheme created by Animation Ireland and Screen Ireland to support productions created with talent from diverse or under-represented backgrounds.
